Does anyone else notice that this thread was started pre-release?

I thought I would mention that,

This game has farming involved and we all knew it, however some poeple try to believe that farming was never happening.

BTW: SuperJ great build. I started my second character, purely for farming, a W/Mo and have tried this build. Most sertianly the best farming build I have seen. Did you get all your runes unlocked before the last update?

For those of you that are asking about the skills and where to get them. Look around you. Do a search.

I enjoyed the build, I just wish I could have used it more than once before they made Riverside un-farmable.

I would be tempted to believe that this character does nothing but farm, but if someone wanted to go play PvE or PvP, they would have all thier refund points maxed out and can go with any setup, since you get a lot of exp from farming.

In fact I do this. So, I cannot go farm till I build up enough refund points, and I cannot go play till I have the refund points. Just a little gimmic to get around.

And to the posters asking about where to find the skills, search. Don't hijack a thread.

Hi SuperJ24, Just a quick question

I've looked at KrobJ's Zealot Channeler [Mo/Me] build, and noticed he doesnt employ Protection Prayers while you do. In your opinion, how necessary is Protection Prayers for such a character?

Zealot's Fire you get from doing the quest, "Into the Unknown" in Augury Rock (really easy quest, can do in <10mins), and according to someone on this thread, you get Shield of Judgement from a boss in Mineral Springs (have to capture).

This build is actually really fun and powerful (and therefore good

) but you really need Shield of Judgement in order to feel the full potential (which I don't have but am planning to get!).

i think this just might work too.
instead of protection i put them in tatics and take out sheild of judgement, mending and reverse fortune. and i put gladiators defense to replace shield, retribution to replace mending, and bonettes defense or how ever u spell it (the one that when they miss u gain mana). this way, u not only deal even more damage to surrounding, u also have 75% chance to avoid and gain mana when avoid. also works in pvp.

Ok, I see that awesome build. But in my case there is a small problem. I am a lvl 20 warr monk with only 22 energy. Can anyone tell me what to do or what to get to have enough energy for all that.

Btw: can someone tell me how to take screenshots also?

My favorite farming attire is the +5 energy sword from Henge of Denravi with a +20% to enchantments Pommel and the Healing ankh from the same place with +10 energy and +5 armor. You can get more energy through other means, but this seems to be a good compromise between; what you need to get it done, and what is possible.

I end up with 36 energy and cast balthazar's aura for my main killing blow.

wow, sorry guys, i have not checked this thread since release.

this was a build i was using during beta. and i havnt even used it since beta so i have no idea how it works.

i have came up with a better farmer, and its more powerfull than the last.

but , its really not my idea at all, its just the basic emo smiter you see in tombs tweeked just a tad for soloing purposes.

what you need is.....

12 energy + superior rune + head peice
10 smiting
8 earth magic + minor rune
+5 energy sword and slap "of enchanting" upgrade or "of fortitude' in it
collectors energy off hand item 20/20

aura of restoration
zealots fire
armor of earth
ether renewal
divine boon
balz aura
balz spirit
watchfull spirit

i cant tell you my new farming spot, cause the last time i did it got nerfed.
but im farming lvl 19 and 20 melee and casters and the rare drops are thru the roof. but , i dont do it for drops anymore, i do it for the exp to gain more skill points when im not tombing.

a few options can be done with this build
for example, im going to do away with the earth and go 12 in smiting and replace armor of earth for retribution. see if that helps me kill faster.

with this build, if used correctly, you have infiniti energy and can deal with any mob that doesnt have enchant removal or knockdown. or allmost.

and i must say, i dont check these forums anymore really, because im playing. so i dont think ill have time to answer any questions on this forum.

Sword Warrior Build:

It is very easy for a Wa/Mo to make, and is virtually foolproof....

First off, my Armament is All Platemail set, except for the boots, which are Knight's. All Major Runes (Vigor, Tactics, Strength, Swordsmanship, Absorption). I wield a simple Spatha of Defense (15% while enchanted / +5 Armor) and the collector Crimson (+45 health while enchanted / -2 dmg enchanted).

I have 2 in Smiting, 9 in Strength, 14 Swordsmanship, and 13 Tactics.

Skill set is as follows (in order from left to right).....

Galrath Slash, Power Strike, Bonnetti's Defense, Gladiator's Defense, Watchful Spirit, Balthatzar's Spirit, Healing Signet, and Sprint(optional; used to get away from Rockshots [ their disrupts SUCK] , alternately drop some strength and increase smiting, and replace Sprint with Symbol of Wrath)......in that order.

1. Start with Spirits

2. Run into group, attack for a min., use Bonnetti's, gain energy, while attacking.

3. Galrath then Power, when Bonnetti's is about to go off, and it will recharge Bonnetti's.

4. Then hit Gladiator's, when it becomes available (And Symbol of Wrath, if you have opted to put that in the place of Sprint.

5. Healing Signet while Gladiator's is on.

Repeat steps 2 and 3, until Glad's is back up, then hit it again, along with, if opted, Symbol of Wrath.

If your health gets low for any reason, hit Healing Signet, while Gladiator's is on.

Repeat and Farm solo forever. I am up to 97k now, not to mention the numerous killer Golds I have found, and the numerous Dune Borrower Jaws and Minotaur Horns I get from the solo Elona Reach mission run (just the first part). If you are ever on, and want to see some of the stuff I collect, or want to see me in action, my main farmer is Synthia Starstriker.
